Lo-Fi-Fnk are a pop explosion of catchy hooks and the forerunners for Sweden’s poppiest band around. Since their last album “Boy Life” they toured and have been working on their new album. Well, a few days ago they dropped a new song “Marchin’ In” off their new album and a video to accompany it. I love it and I like the direction they are going with. [mp3] Daniel Joseph – Gone Fishin’ Mixtape – Smoke In My Go Kart
If you haven’t heard of him already then this is a good start. Daniel Joseph has been around formerly as Espee One of the group Bully Mouth, but he has broken through as a solo artist. His long awaited solo debut, “Pretty/Ugly”, was released just last month with many welcoming fans and critics. From a blurb in XXL’s latest issueand album being released in stores everywhere he has made a name for himself. (For you Spotify people out there in Europe you can check out the album on there.) He has a new mixtape dropping by the end of the this year. Don’t worry we will let you know the second it drops. As I said if you don’t know the guy this is a good start because I have a track off his new mixtape “Gone Fishin’”. It’s called “Smoke In My Go Kart” and it’s straight fire! Enjoy! Charlotte Gainsbourg’s newest album,”IRM” has a lot of buzz around it already and that is just from her first single “Heaven Can Wait”. I posted the video that has spread all around like wildfire. This Nosaj Thing remix should do the same. It’s highly addictive cool electronic setting makes for a real nice remix. Enjoy!
Sigur Ros‘ front man Jón Þór Birgisson or better known as Jonsi has released a free mp3 off of his solo album. Not a lot of information has been revealed about the album, but that the New York composer Nico Muhly will be doing string arrangements. Here is the new song “Boy Lilikoi” that I can describe as () era Sigur Ros with more drums and strings and with actual lyrics I can understand. Enjoy!

Maskinen are know for their crazy hip hop electro sound. Their new album Boys II Men could have one of the best album titles of the year. It’s packed full of their hits like “Alla Som Inte Dansar” and Segertåget and now their new single “Dansa Med Vapen” featuring Marina Gasolina of Bonde do Rolê fame.
