Lo-Fi-Fnk are a pop explosion of catchy hooks and the forerunners for Sweden’s poppiest band around. Since their last album “Boy Life” they toured and have been working on their new album. Well, a few days ago they dropped a new song “Marchin’ In” off their new album and a video to accompany it. I love it and I like the direction they are going with. Check out the video and download the new song after the jump! Enjoy! (more…)
Charlotte Gainsbourg’s newest album,”IRM” has a lot of buzz around it already and that is just from her first single “Heaven Can Wait”. I posted the video that has spread all around like wildfire. This Nosaj Thing remix should do the same. It’s highly addictive cool electronic setting makes for a real nice remix. Enjoy!
Another odd electronic act out of Sweden. I don’t have any information on Girls With Moustaches except they are from Sweden , they are a duo, and have two great songs. Also that “Overheated” is their first song ever. Enjoy!

Modular records have another small act, Delphic, signed and they are getting ready to blow up. They have a debut album dropping next year. So, far it’s nothing COSMIC, but it’s something to keep an eye on. Their album “Acolyte” drops, 1/11/10! Enjoy!
Mr. Suitcase had an amazing album come out last year, and it was completely for free. It was a great mix of pop/hip hop/dance music that made the top of my list as one of the best releases in Sweden. Now he is back! Though this came out back on January 5th it’s worth it. He recorded a live show in Uppsala Sweden with the hopes of releasing it as an official live album. Lack of the crowd being heard on the recording changed things completely:
“Unfortunately, very little sound was picked up from the audience and when the atmosphere wasn’t caught on tape I didn’t think it was worth doing something with. But since I went through the trouble of recording the thing, I figured I might as well post it here.”
So, here you go ladies and gents. Mr. Suitcase @ Klubb Rotor is definitely worth it. Enjoy!
O’Spada are a little outfit from Stockholm, Sweden. Julia O’Spada the leading lady of this group can really belt it out! She is a wonderful singer who makes this soulful 80’s pop synth heavy 5 piece one of most addicting bands of the year. It sounds like Michael Jackson is alive and well in the music we have today. Check out the two first singles “Time” and “Ten Strikes”. I added links for where I got all the remixes from so make sure you go to those places and show your thanks. Enjoy everything!
