I know Gorillaz have been giving us snipits of new material through these teaser videos since word of the new album started. Buzz circulating their third album “Plastic Beach” has been rising to a tremendous level. Hype isn’t even the word to use anymore. Chiddy Bang are straight out of Philly where its always sunny. Remixing Radiohead’s “Reckoner” last year and their popular track “Opposite of Adults” which is a rework of MGMT’s “Kids” has definitely put them on the hipster map. Labrador Records has a great line up of albums coming out this year and The Radio Dept’s is one of my most anticipated albums of this year. It was released on Valentines Day and since then it has been on repeat for me. Probably one of the best all around mixes so far this year. Luvstep is a mix put together by Dirty South Joe & Flufftronix with the help of Maddecent, Subdivision and more. Check it all out at the website. The love or “luv” theme throughout is intoxicating.
