If you haven’t heard of him already then this is a good start. Daniel Joseph has been around formerly as Espee One of the group Bully Mouth, but he has broken through as a solo artist. His long awaited solo debut, “Pretty/Ugly”, was released just last month with many welcoming fans and critics. From a blurb in XXL’s latest issueand album being released in stores everywhere he has made a name for himself. (For you Spotify people out there in Europe you can check out the album on there.) He has a new mixtape dropping by the end of the this year. Don’t worry we will let you know the second it drops. As I said if you don’t know the guy this is a good start because I have a track off his new mixtape “Gone Fishin’”. It’s called “Smoke In My Go Kart” and it’s straight fire! Enjoy! Check out the video for his first single, “Fly On Paper” after the jump.
Charlotte Gainsbourg’s newest album,”IRM” has a lot of buzz around it already and that is just from her first single “Heaven Can Wait”. I posted the video that has spread all around like wildfire. This Nosaj Thing remix should do the same. It’s highly addictive cool electronic setting makes for a real nice remix. Enjoy!
Two Door Cinema Club made their mark on the latest Kitsune Maison compilation. With a brilliant video and a album dropping on February 2010 these guys will be a band to look out for next year. Enjoy the video and extra Christmas present remix after the jump! (more…)
And you thought Iceland only had Sigur Ros and Bjork!? They were also hiding this little gem that goes by the name of Berndsen. A 80’s throwback is what they sound like in a nutshell. Constant use of synths, and clean elaborate well timed guitar solos, mixed with some dance beats. These bands always have a special place in my heart and it looks like Berndsen has stolen it. Check them out. Album is out now! I wish they were Swedish! Check out the videos for “Lover In The Dark” which is a very cool video game themed video. “Supertime” is a good way to react to a car accident. The videos are here right after the jump! Enjoy! Another odd electronic act out of Sweden. I don’t have any information on Girls With Moustaches except they are from Sweden , they are a duo, and have two great songs. Also that “Overheated” is their first song ever. Enjoy!

Scion A/V time and time again bring their A game to the masses. This time with The Juan Maclean featuring four songs off their 2009 release, “The Future Will Come”, all remixed by some great talents. Check it out!
Blakroc did something this year that I love. When you bring Hip Hop together with a pinch of of that rock n roll you almost certainly get results. Sometimes you get lets say Lincon Park which is a bad result, but sometimes you get Blakroc. Blakroc are the genius that is The Black Keys and some of hip hops finest. From Mos Def, Raekwon, RZA and Pharoahe Monch to name a few. They performed on David Letterman performing the track “Ain’t Nothing Like You (Hoochie Coo) (feat. Jim Jones & Mos Def)”. I also added their performance from Jimmy Fallon. Enjoy!
Could be one of the best videos of the year. From what sweden.se says:
“The video for Pato Pooh’s new single “Follow Me” (featuring a cameo by AdamTensta) is created by Maceo Frost, Ali Al-Zamli and David Paullo, who recently graduated form high school and used the studio in their old school to produce the video.”
The editing, the style, and the song itself are hot like fire! Check it out and ENJOY! 163! STOCKHOLM CITY!
