Emil and Friends: Up To Speed

Emil and Friends keep the fun in the sun and will continue to do so throughout summer and beyond! They are a pop phenom of enormous heights tearing down the veil of depressing one hit wonders of the indie scene. Genre bending back and forth to the point where I can’t describe it other than Popsicle Rock. Here is a new song just for you. I fell in love after one song and my heart falls harder and faster with each listen. Enjoy! I also added the Phoenix/Michael Jackson Cover/Remix/Mashup via (asiandan). AND! The remix of Little Boots “New In Town” which is one of my favorites off of her album.

RIP DASH SNOW July 27, 1981 – July 13, 2009

I know a few days short, but had to put my two cents in. It’s too bad it was a drug overdose considering friends and family thought he was off the junk. Walter Cronkite dies at 92 too? Sooooo crazy!

Kid Robot: Futurama & Atrak

My friend Jay posted this on facebook and I need to post it on here. I was literally talking to my friend about this last weekend. “Why doesn’t Kid Robot make Futurama toys!?” …and BOOM! They are going to make them! Here is a picture of what they are going to look like.

Welcome to the 31st century! Matt Groening and David X. Cohen team up with Kidrobot to bring all your favorite Planet Express employees to vinyl. From the cryogenically frozen Fry to the ancient Dr. Zoidberg, 12 iconic characters, including 2 chases, are coming at you blind boxed on August 13. Each 3-inch figure retails for $8.95.

Also, I didn’t know about this until I just saw it on their site, but it looks like…

Renowned DJ A-Trak and artist savant Dust La Rock present Grateful Bear, an ice-cold player notorious for trippy parties in his psychedelic igloo. Grateful Bear stands 8-inches tall and steps on the scene with tons of swag, including a gold-plated necklace, leather cuff, cotton sweatband, snow-capped igloo, fitted baseball hat, and wayfarers.”
