This is the video for the first single from Monkey. Which if you don’t know is the play Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn, Gorillaz, created. This song has a very nice build up into a punk driving sound. It reminds me of M1 A1 off of the Gorillaz self-titled debut album. Enjoy this live-action video.
You don’t always have to be a skinny bitch from france to make some electro. Joachim Garraud is the perfect example of that. He is fat, wears alien masks and his stage setup is a space ship. Any weirder than that and I wouldn’t like him. Are you ready? Enjoy!

DatA recently held a conest via Palms for the public to remix of his best song to date, Rapture. It features vocals by the now well-known vocalist Sebastien Grainger of Death From Above 1979 (RIP). He has now been featured on another track released this year by Does It Offend You Yeah? and his recently released album, Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains. Well said track’s contest has ended and 3 winners have been picked. Along with the winners is the new video for Rapture below. Come November 8th Cut Copy will grace this little city of Malmo with their dance/rock ballads and Australian friends Mercy Arms. They will be playing at Babel formally known around here as Jericho.
A band I have posted about a couple times now on how I love that they are a all girl band from Sweden and their new album “In Our Super Hero Space Suits”. Just around the corner from Babel is Kulturbolaget another cool venue for bands to play and where Those Dancing Days will present themselves on Halloween. I know in New York all the shows going on Halloween day will have some sort of significance to the holiday, but I don’t know if that is the same here. Come to the shows I will be there and it will be loads of fun.

I posted about these guys back in June and how hard hitting their sound is. Now they have been released on a compilation BUSY P put together and have been played out by the Ed Banger All Stars as well as Kavinsky and Erol Alkan. S.P.A are doing it big and they don’t stop the Pet Dance there. The Italian Stallion is just as hard hitting and I think a better track over all. Enjoy!

I always say I don’t watch a lot of tv but in the last year or so I have become addicted. Adult Swim shows are just the best, but it’s the dramas that really get to me. I wasn’t always a fan of Law and Order (svu), but when I did become a fan I fell hard for Moulder and Scully… I mean Mariska and Malloni. Or as my friends and I would say Mariska and Balogna. Last season ended with one of the best episodes I have ever seen and a Emmy nomination for Robin Williams guest appearance in that episode. The last episode losing the deep voice chubby bitch I loved Casey. I couldn’t wait for the 10th season to start. Now only 4 episodes into the season I can say it is one of my favorite shows of all time and of the fall season.
I wanted to up this video for a while now and after I saw them in New York it was all the more reason to post it. Enjoy.
Labrador just sent over a track by a new band they just signed, Pallers. Another band from Sweden that you will be drooling over very soon. The vocals are very soft as if a whisper while the music takes you on a trip. This band will be going places now that they have connected with a label featuring some of the best from Sweden. Their debut EP is out December 3rd. Enjoy Humdrum!
