The Disco Villains are too damn good. If it wasn’t enough with The Faint remix of The Geeks Were Right now they sent over a remix of The Rapture’s “House of Jealous Lovers”. This track is definitely one stuck on repeat for me. They are opening for The Rapture the date is below. Download it and another track below. The Faint remix is also in the mix I made. Download that here.
Tee’s Bday ft. THE RAPTURE, The Disco Villains, Nortec and Glass Candy Tijuas, Baja California September 15th 8:PM
LX-iR sent over this remix of the only song I like by Estelle. I heard the Danger remix and it is great. Now I get LX-iR’s take on it. It’s has a pop sound, but still sticks it to you with those electronic fills. Enjoy.
I was messing around this week with some of my favorite remixes. I picked up 2 of these this week and loved them so much I needed to make a mix. It’s been awhile, but this time it is real good. It’s not the end of summer yet, but I won’t be making anymore mixes and it’s something to listen to UNTIL the end of summer. Hope you guys like it. Enjoy!

The Stills new album is very good. This is their third album to date. I think my friend Gina over at Hello Jupiter said it best about the album:
“i like it a lot but after finishing it i immediately went to go listen to my fav stills album: logic will break your heart”
I did the same thing and the first song I wanted to hear was Of Montreal. It makes sense that they would name it that considering all 4 of them are from Montreal. Not like those liars, Of Montreal. I upped said track and Panic my favorite song from Oceans Will Rise.
The Disco Villains have now been added to the list of greats to remix The Faint’s The Geeks Were Right. It’s tough to follow Shadow Dancer, Boys Noize and D.I.M, but this remix holds up. I like it a lot. Give it a whirl kids. Here is a Shadow Dancer remix too.
It looks like the Sweden 20 something (member) I’m From Barcelona are taking a darker side with their new album. I just mean the name of it, cover of it, and their new website. I have a new song to download that is the same good old group of guys and girls singing but a bit depressed. Enjoy! Album is out October 14th.

Mr. Suitcase is a great indie/electronic musician from Stockholm, Sweden. He had an idea for a mix that turned into a album/mix titled “Fraud”. I listen to it almost any chance I can get to. It’s a really good mix even throwing in some mainstream hip hop with some classic dance hits. It’s all around great.
From His Website: This past winter, I began putting together what I’d planned to be a mixtape for my friends. But instead of just mixing songs in a set, I suddenly found myself weaving the tracks together, inspired by collage aesthetics and ambient pop. I began adding new elements where I thought the originals were lacking. People began dropping by the studio to record vocals and instruments over the loops and fragments I’d extracted and, well… Soon enough, the result has become more than just the generic mixtape.
“Frauds” is neither mixtape nor album. It’s neither remix nor mash-up. It’s something in between. “Frauds” is built from elements ranging from Prince to Nicolas Makelberge, from Ashanti to Zongamin, layered with field recordings and finalized by the recordings in Roth Händle Studio where the album… Sorry, the fraud was completed.
T-Rex and just about every other cool classic rock band are resurrected through MGMT! Metanoia is a b-side to Oracular Spectacular that is genre bending at times, and never lets down in it’s 13:49 of play time. Enjoy Bitches.
