LOVE might have been the worst place to have a set w/ LA Riots and The Bloody Beetroots, but regardless of the place and people it was KILLED! LA Riots were great and really getting people into the mood, but TBBs were fucking nuts. My friend Janelle and I were concerned a arm would dislocate with all the rapid knob turning.

That is the name of the new exhibit that was opened at Pierro Gallery of South Orange (PGOSO) along with one of my favorite photography websites, iheartphotograph.com. I can’t believe I am late on this, but not being home a lot and when I am home just preparing to move is another time consuming activity. Better late than ever, right?

LA Riots added this little Tour on me blindly. I’m pretty surprised because they also have Felix Cartal and my favorites ever, THE BLOODY BEETROOTS! It’s at LOVE in NYC and you have to RSVP HERE! It’s going to be an awesome set. I can’t wait!!

It gets kind of crazy to try and keep up with all the bands/dj’s and parties. Sound Team was one of my favorite bands of 06 broke up in SEPTEMBER of 07. You know why they broke up!? Capitol dropped them off their label because they weren’t selling albums. I would like to thank Pitchfork and all the other haters for making sure they didn’t sell any albums. “Movie Monster” from start to finish is better then a lot of the shit out today. Every EP they put out also had the same drive to it. BUMMER.

Rainer Maria was just a cool band. Lead singer has a great voice and lyrics were great. It made sense they picked up the name of the band from the writer of the same name. They also broke up this year and it was sad news.

Another band that also had my heart, but sadly came to an end last year was Pretty Girls Make Graves. They took the name from The Smiths song of the same name. This basically goes out to my friend Gina and my one day remixing one of their songs considering no one did. Here are two great tracks.

Oh My God! Yea, this is what I have beeeeeen waiting for. My good friend Jeff has put up a pre-pre-view of his new mash up mix coming this month, under Love And Beats. This pre-pre-view is amazing. It’s 7:43 and I am losing it because I basically need the mix RIGHT NOW. It’s so good. Gossip/Daft Punk/The Avalanches/Calvin Harris/Uffie/Jay-z/Ghostface Killah and a bunch of other stuff I don’t even know. Alll of that is in the mix that he put up. Who knows what else is coming! When you hear Uffie come in that’s basically where I cream myself. You can get his other awesome mixes on his myspace page.

I got pink eye for the first time over the weekend resulting in not seeing Hot Chip w/ Free Blood at Terminal 5. Which was a bummer and also caused me to cancel my trip to Pittsburgh next weekend. Since I had the free time at home not doing anything I present you with the PINK EYE MIX!
