Well, a few days ago they dropped a new song “Marchin’ In” off their new album and a video to accompany it. I love it and I like the direction they are going with. Jay Electronica is one of the dopest rappers of ALL TIME! When you take the flow of a genius and the production of the late great J Dilla it’s nothing but pure dopeness to the foundation of Hip Hop and its swaying back and forth trying to find some common ground. I hope Drake even knows who he is. This is what real Hip Hop is and considering Jay has a new joint on heavy rotation at 97.1 here in New York just prooves he is going to have a great year! Pick up his new EP, “Exhibit C” over at iTunes. Though “Suckas” was released last year around October I couldn’t help myself but to post it.

Lali Puna have not released an album in half a decade. For music industry standards thats called a “Guns & Roses”. It was worth the wait because from what I have heard its Lali Puna for the new decade. Blips and cuts they are known for with a constant of pop-synth pulsing and lyrics to wet your eyes. Lali Puna are back and their new album “Our Inventions” will be released April 6th on Morr Music. It features Valerie Trebeljahr, members of The Notwist, Tied & Tickled Trio, and there is a special appearance by Yellow Magic Orchestra’s Yukihiro Takahashi. Electro-Pop and all around cool guys The Go Find are back with a third album, “Everybody Knows It’s Gonna Happen, Only Not Tonight”, coming out on Morr Music on Feb. 16th. “It’s Automatic” is the first video off the new album. The song and video compliment each other very well. Giving a fun pop feel while using the album cover as a palette to bring us further into the mind of The Go Find. DâM-FunK’s critically acclaimed album of last year, “Toeachizown” is now available on 5LP box set. Stones Throw Records made it clear that the reason for the late release was “due to manufacturing issue”. So, go out and pick up your copy or head over to Stones Throw Records and order your copy. I can honestly say it’s worth it in every way shape or form.
